About SEUS-CP Alliance
The Government of Québec will host the 12th annual Southeastern United States–Canadian Provinces (SEUS-CP) Alliance Conference, taking place from June 2 to 4, 2019, in Montréal under the theme of smart mobility.
The SEUS-CP Alliance is an economic forum founded in 2007 at the initiative of the Québec government and the state of Georgia. It is aimed at increasing trade, promoting bilateral investments, and stimulating technological and scientific exchanges among member states and provinces.
Six U.S. states (Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee) and six Canadian provinces (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Québec) comprise the alliance. Members meet annually at a conference held on an alternating basis in Canada and the United States.
This alliance is a privileged network for Québec and contributes to the development and strengthening of its political and institutional ties with member states and provinces.
